Acetate or Bremelanotide is the generic term for a research peptide being studies for its possible use in helping improve sexual dysfunction. Acetate was developed from the tanning peptide Melanotan 2, which is synthetically produced variant of peptide hormone naturally produced in the body that stimulates melanogenesis that is known as alpha-Melanocyte stimulating hormone. MSH, activates certain melanocortin receptors in the process of exerting its effects. Indeed, MShH also exerts potent influence over lipid metabolism, appetite, and sexual libido. The melanocortin system targets receptors associated with desire through the melanocyte stimulating hormone paths that cross the blood-brain-barrier.
Acetate, an analogue of the endogenous α-MSH peptide, has demonstratively shown through both clinical and preliminary studies that it has the potential to stimulate powerful aphrodisiac effects. The Acetate peptide is composed of seven amino acids and has a molar mass of 1025.2 Dalton.
According to scientific study that has been performed on horses, Acetate (Bremelanotide) works by activating the melanocortin receptors MC3-R and MC4-R in the central nervous system. This interaction allows the peptide to regulate brain transmissions that are sent to the parts of the central nervous system tied to blood flow restriction and inflammation. In essence, the peptide’s functionality could cause a curtailing of inflammation that may otherwise be triggered by various irritants or pathogens. It could also cause a reduction of the damage that may otherwise occur within blood vessels and their associative tissues – damage that could be directly linked to the wake of an incident tied to ischemia.
Because of Acetate (Bremelanotide)’s ability to regulate blood flow restriction and inflammation, scientific study based on horses has determined that the peptide may be instrumental in managing the onset of hemorrhagic shock and reperfusion injury. It is thought that it could aid in the former condition because it can boost sympathetic outflow to the heart and other organs that may otherwise slow down or stop altogether. It is thought that it could aid in the latter because it could possibly lessen the kinds of blockages that are typically associated to blood flow restriction to tissues in the aftermath of the ischemic cascade.
Use one vial mixed with 2.5ml sterile water, sub-contaneus (under the skin). For best results use 1 x 10mg vial every 3-5 days for 6 treatments.
10mg of Acetate (99%).
Refrigerated when possible and out of direct sunlight.
Even though there has been an extensive amount of research conducted Acetate (Bremelanotide), it needs to be emphasized that all of the research that has been conducted with the peptide has been built around scientific studies that have been based on animal test subjects exclusively. As such, any findings or observations relating to Acetate (Bremelanotide) should be exclusively contained to a strictly controlled environment such as a medical research facility or a laboratory.
